A great book for teaching emotions and a bit about being patient. Something every parent and kid could probably use more of! My 3-year old cracks up at almost every page. It’s funny just watching her react to this book about Betty the chihuahua.

I’ll write this review quickly because my 3-year old daughter is pestering me to read it to her again so I’ve got to go do that, haha. Anyway, my kids like it and I enjoyed it as well. A great find for families who enjoy some cute humor, fun illustrations…and bonus if you love or have loved a chihuahua!

Betty books are written and illustrated by Scott Bedillion, who is an elementary school teacher, chronic doodler, and former collegiate cartoonist. Betty is based on Scott's beloved chihuahua Betty (of course) and is inspired by the belief that Betty had a constant inner dialogue and could understand every word her humans said.
